Frequently Asked Questions

General

Tattoosaurus is an online platform that connects tattoo artists with clients. Artists showcase their portfolios and flash art, manage bookings and get paid, while clients discover artists, find inspiration and book appointments in one place.

Use Artist Search to filter by style and state, or search by name, shop or city. You can also browse the Tattoo Gallery and Flash Gallery and tap any design to visit the artist behind it.

For clients

Open the artist's profile and tap Tattoo Request. Answer a few quick questions about your idea, size, placement and timing, and upload reference images. The artist replies in your inbox, can ask questions, and sends you a quote with the price, deposit and appointment time.

To confirm your appointment you pay the deposit set by the artist plus a small platform fee, securely by card through Stripe. The rest of the tattoo price is paid after your session, either online or in the shop.

Deposits secure the artist's time and design work, so they are non-refundable if you cancel a confirmed booking. If the artist cancels, you are refunded in full automatically.

Yes. You must be 18 or older to request a tattoo through Tattoosaurus. Artists may ask to see ID at your appointment.

Only clients who completed a tattoo booked through Tattoosaurus can review that artist, so every review comes from a real appointment.

For artists

Upload your work to your Tattoo Gallery, then pick up to 5 pieces as your Top 5. They appear first on your profile and get priority in the Tattoo Gallery, so quality, not posting volume, decides your visibility.

Connect a free Stripe payout account from Payments & Payouts in your dashboard. Deposits and online balance payments go straight to your bank account. You always receive 100% of the tattoo price you quote.

Our team reviews every new artist profile to keep the community safe and authentic. You will get an email as soon as your profile is approved, usually within one to two business days.

Yes. Add conventions, flash days, workshops and guest spots under My Events. They appear on the Events page and your profile once approved.
